To modify skills associated with your profile
Logged-in Users
- 1. On your home page, click Profile. The Candidate’s Profile Window appears.
- 2. Under the Skills section, click Edit. The Skills Window (2 of 2) appears showing the skills currently associated with your profile.
- 3. Do one or more of the following:
- To add recommended skills: Click the recommended skills you possess. To select more than one, press and hold the CTRL key then click on each additional choice.
- To search for more skills: Type in one or more keywords in the search box and then click Search.
- To remove a skill from your profile: Click the Remove link for the skill.
- 4. The Skills Window (2 of 2) updates, showing the skills you selected in the My Skills list on the right and new recommended skills.
- 5. Click Save to save your changes to your profile.
- 6. For each skill in your profile (the My Skills list on the right), specify:
- How interested are you in using the skill?
- How many years of experience do you possess in the skill?
- Note the more accurate you are in defining your profile, the easier it will be to find good jobs to apply for. Again, the system speeds up the process by offering intelligent recommendations as you work.
- 7. Click Return to Profile when you are done. The Candidate’s Profile Window appears.

Users who are not logged-in
This functionality is sometimes available on the Candidate’s Career Match Results Window by clicking a Skills link in the paragraph at the top of the page.
- 1. On the Career Match Results window, click the Skills link. The Skills Window (2 of 2) appears showing the skills currently associated with your profile.
- 2. Do one or more of the following:
- To add recommended skills: Click the recommended skills you possess. To select more than one, press and hold the CTRL key then click on each additional choice.
- To search for more skills: Type in one or more keywords in the search box then click Search.
- To remove a skill from your profile: Click the Remove link for the skill.
- 3. The Skills Window (2 of 2) updates, showing the skills you selected in the My Skills list on the right and new recommended skills.
- 4. Click Save to save your changes to your profile.
