Chapter 2  Procedures


This section includes a number of procedures for helping you complete tasks in the system.

Note Most of these procedures require you to register in the system and log in. See To register in the system.

Log in to or log out of the system

The Log In Window is where you type in your user name and password to gain access to the system. Once you log in, you will go to your home page.

Register in the system

Although you can do a simple search for current jobs without registering in the system, there are many benefits to registering:

Modify your profile

Once you register with the system, you can modify your profile as your skills change so you can be matched with all of the jobs you’re qualified to hold and interested in performing.

Check your job applications

You can see what’s happening with your applications at any point in the process. Are there any newly announced jobs you might want to apply for? Do you need to take a test to complete the application for a particular job? What is your current status for a particular job: eligible, being oral panel interviewed, etc.?
