New User/Register Window
This is the first step in registering with the system: providing basic information about you that will identify you uniquely in the system and provide contact information to the hiring manager and recruiter, who may need to contact you during the application process.
Once you have completed this registration, you will receive notification via email message that you have registered in the system.
- Note For security purposes, the password and confirm password information must be re-entered if there is an error when you submit your registration information to the system.
- Account information—Required information that allows each user secure and private access to their online application information.
- User name box—Type in your user name here. A user name can contain letters (A through Z, a through z) and numerals (0 through 9). Do not use punctuation marks ( . , ; " ), spaces, or other characters. A user name can contain letters (A through Z, a through z) and numerals (0 through 9). - Confirm Password box—Type in your password again, to verify it. Type carefully—the Confirm Password entry must be the same as the Password entry.
- Secret Question list—Select a question from the list that can be used to verify your identity if you forget your password. Choices are: City You Were Born In, Favorite Teacher, Mother’s Maiden Name, Pet’s Name, and Street You Grew Up On.
- Secret Answer box—Type in the answer to the secret question you selected.
- Unique Identity Information—Information required to ensure that all candidates’ identities are unique and secure.
- Last 4 Digits of Social Security Number box—Type in the last four digits of your legal social security number (SSN).
- Month of Birth list—Select the month in which you were born. For example, 01 for January or 11 for November.
- Day of Birth list—Select the day of the month on which you were born: 01 through 31.
- First 2 Letters of Last Name at Birth box—Type in the first three letters of your full, legal last name (surname or family name) appearing on your birth certificate.
- Contact information—Your name, mailing address, telephone number, etc. Your complete email address or postal mailing address is required.
- First Name box—Type in your present legal first name. Use your full name, please, not a nickname.
- Middle Initial box—Type in your present legal middle initial (the first letter of your middle name).
- Last Name box—Type in your present legal last name.
- Email Address box—Type in your email address, exactly as it appears for your account. For example, “t_hedgehog@hedgerow.com”. Type carefully!
- Address (Line 1) box—Type in your street address and apartment number, if applicable, or a post office (P.O.) box number.
- Address (Line 2) box—Type in any additional address information that wouldn’t fit on the first line.
- City box—Type in your city of residence, such as Fort Lauderdale.
- State list—Select your state of residence, for example Florida.
- ZIP (Postal) Code box—Type in the ZIP (postal) code for this address, for example “33301” or “33301-1234”.
- Home Telephone Number box—Type in your home telephone number, including the area code. For example, 954-357-6444.
- Alternative Telephone Number box—(Optional) Type in an alternative telephone number where you may be reached. For example, a cellular, work, or second residence telephone number.
